totally 90s #tbt

As if…I feel like this is totally a dress Phoebe Buffay would wear with a half up scrunchie ‘do…which is also apparently back in style? I’m telling you, buy or keep old stuff, because eventually it ALL comes back around.

This vintage gem was rescued from the floor at Thrift Mart back in February. I had to repair at least 5 buttons and wash it twice, but it was worth the effort. You cannot wear it and be in a bad mood. Did I mention it was $1?

It’s so aggressively 90s from the stripe on the collar to the lace up back, to the sunflower print. The brand is Sarah Elizabeth, and while I couldn’t find any info on the actual brand, I did see quite a few other 90s gems for sale on Poshmark and Etsy.

I didn’t go full 90s, but I did rock some flat forms that I thrifted earlier this week. They had never been worn and don’t make me walk like Frankenstein – #win. I also thrifted this orange Lucky Brand fringe bag in the same visit. It was a good haul.             For dinner, I took my #TBT clad self out with the fam to my favorite pizzeria, Sam & Greg’s. They just so happened to be blasting a totally awesome 90s playlist. I’m pretty sure it was meant to be! They played the Spin Doctors, Janet, REM, Mariah, Gin Blossoms….the whole gang. And of course, the pizza was delicious as always.

After dinner we headed to Greene Street Market for some highly requested rainbow popsicles. On the way we made a pit stop at Green Bus Brewing, so Matt could get his dessert – a Hibiscus Pale Ale. I had a sip, and it’s so stinkin’ good – like summer in liquid form. It made me miss beer A LOT.

Maxwell and Milo are rocking thrifted threads too!

At the farmers market we took advantage of $5 coupons provided by Matt’s employer and picked up a random assortment of goodies including okra, challah bread, olive spread, local grass fed New York strip steaks, and exactly one green pepper. Another good haul.
