After 12 formative and fun filled years in the windy city, my husband and I decided to migrate south for good. We packed up the kids, our pets, our Chicago memories, and set out for Huntsville, Alabama – A mid-size city in northern Alabama where both of our families live. This was always our long game, and the time has come. I LOVE the big city (and I will miss it dearly) but now, as a family of four, it’s time for a new chapter.
I don’t know what my new life here is going to look like, or what the fate of The Hunt Shop looks like (are there good thrift stores here???) I do know that we’re going to try to make it work. I have a feeling my thrifting ways will continue, and I’ll want to share my experiences and crazy finds with you!
In the spirit of THS and DIY-ing your way through life, here are some shots from our first photo shoot in downtown Huntsville. We’re wearing thrifted and gifted items obviously! The photo quality is lacking a bit (due to me not putting on the right lens), but I love these pics none the less.
