lululemon prices got you sour?

$100 for a pair of yoga pants sure as hell makes me pucker. Luckily, I believe you can find anything at the thrift shop. Anything. Even Lululemon. I’m not talking well-loved, pill-y, and hole-y lulu. I’m talking like-new lulu.

I admit that finding these treasures amongst the hundreds of very sad and faded Old Navy and Target sports bras can be challenging. My trick is to just take your time. Commit to the athletic section (if there one) and run your hand along each item. Lululemon, or any luxury brand athletic wear, just feels different. It’s that buttery soft stretch French terry fabric. All the while keeping your eyes peeled for that weird little logo. If you don’t find anything your first try, don’t get discouraged. Like a great bod, curating a great workout wardrobe takes time and patience.

Finally, I ALWAYS try the garment on over my clothes. Just do it (pun always intended). You would be surprised how many defects that you won’t notice unless you try it on. Every time I skip this step I find standing in my closet with new thrifted item with a gaping hole over my boob (how did I notice this?) If it passes the try on test, skip your lucky ass right over to the register. I recommend washing Lululemon on delicate or hand wash. Then you’re ready to hit the gym looking like the #girlboss you are.

As always, I have curated a selection for those who cannot be bothered to scour their location thrift shop. So wanna see my goodies, my goodies, my goodies, yes my goodies!? Here they are! Available now in The Hunt Shop Tradesy closet. Simply click on the item name below.
